Who can participate in the challenge?

What do I need to bring to participate?
We provide the paper and pens for the challenge, but you're free to bring your own pens if you prefer. Otherwise, just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
How are entries scored?
Entries are scored based on a rubric that assesses different aspects of the drawing. The exact details of the rubric are not disclosed to ensure fair competition and to maintain the element of surprise. However, creativity, accuracy, and innovation always score high.
Can I participate in more than one scenario?
Yes, you can participate in multiple scenarios. However, we limit entries to one per scenario per person.
What if I don’t know how to draw a network diagram?
Don't worry! Our contest encourages creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. We even have an Art Category for those who prefer to express their ideas in non-technical ways.
Are there any prizes?
Yes, there are! All participants receive a sticker, and there will be an exciting grand prize for this year's winner. We're currently finalizing the details, so stay tuned for more information.
When will the challenge take place?
The challenge will run on Friday and Saturday from 8-4, and on Sunday from 10-12 during DEFCON 31. However, this schedule is subject to change, so make sure to check back for updates.
